The winning ticket, purchased on May 2 at the Georgetown Shell at 912 Danbury Road in Wilton matched five numbers making it worth a million dollars, lottery officials said.
The winning numbers were 5-14-31-40-50 and the Powerball was 6.
Winners have 180 days to claim their prize money before the state keeps the cash.
Other unclaimed winning tickets sold locally include:
- Feb. 18: $25,000 a year for life ticket was sold at Brazil Legal LLC at 414 West Main St. in Stamford.
- March 30: $100,000 Cash 5 ticket was sold at Merritt Country Store, 337 Main St. in Westport.
- April 20: $100,000 Cash 5 ticket was sold at Winners Norwalk, 24 Burnell Blvd. in Norwalk.
